We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Research Associate (m/f) – full-time

To bring our small and personable R&D team to the next level, we are looking for a full-time Research Associate (m/f), who will be responsible for the performance of analytical, immunological and bacteriological assays for antigens in discovery, preclinical as well as clinical programs. The designated candidate will support the company’s R&D team by independently establishing, performing, optimizing and validating pre-defined test procedures. Responsibilities

    • Establishment, qualification/validation and routine performance including documentation and reporting of the following methods:
      • Protein analytics: HPLC analysis (RP, SEC, IEX), SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, IEF
      • Immunoassays: ELISA
      • Cellular bioassays: FACS, immune-cell differentiation, eukaryotic cell culture, microscopy
      • Protein expression analysis: expression arrays, cytokine measurement, pathway analysis
      • Performance of aseptic operations under biosafety conditions
      • Writing of standard operating procedures (SOPs), reports and GDP compliant documentation
      • Work in BSL2 environment in compliance with all company regulations

      Qualifications

      • Degree in the area of natural sciences at BSc or MSc level – preferably Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent education
      • Education, practical training and good understanding of hands-on lab work
      • Good command of MS-Office applications
      • High command of English and good command of German is required

      Professional Background

      • At least 4 years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar function
      • Practical experience with assays and methods listed above, including GDP compliant documentation
      • QC and/or QA experience would be an asset

      • Mature personality with good sense of priorities
      • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
      • Adaptable and flexible personality willing to work in a start-up surrounding

      The minimum salary in accordance with the “Kollektivvertrag des Chemischen Gewerbes” for this position is € 1.830,09 gross per month. The actual salary will depend on relevant experience and qualification of the designated candidate and will be negotiated at the time of the job offer. Executive Assistant (m/f) – full-time

Furthermore, the employee will be responsible for the meeting and business trip organization for the team as well as for other high-level administrative tasks. Responsibilities

        • Communication channel between CEO and the internal organization
        • Team and organizational development
        • Information exchange between CEO and external partners
          • Facilitate preparation of business trips (information research, travel itineraries etc.)
          • Organize business-relevant information, e.g. develop efficient filing systems
          • Support preparation and organization of internal meetings

Qualifications

          • Administrative education with focus on General Business Management (FH, University or similar education)
          • Education in organizational behavior and management is an asset
          • Good command of MS-Office applications
          • High command of English and German

Professional Background

          • At least 5 years of practical experience in a similar function
          • Practical experience with administrative tasks and supportive functions for a CEO or related position
          • Excellence in written and oral communication in both, English and German (by phone, e-mail and in the form of presentations and reports)
          • Practical presentation and organizational experience
          • Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry is an asset
          • Experience with change or development projects is an asset
